Movie Review:
Masti gudi is an upcoming indian kannada-language motion film directed by nagshekar, starring duniya vijay who is also credited for the film’s tale, kriti kharbanda and amulya in lead roles.
On 7 november 2016, actors anil kumar and raghava uday drowned after they took a 60-ft plunge from a chopper even as shooting movie’s climax. A rescue motorboat scheduled to tug the actors out of the water did now not begin, ensuing in immediately drowning of both the actors.
Maasthi is a mahout dwelling in the village next to the woodland. The wooded area is his life and he doesn’t find it irresistible if a single dwelling creature there is hurt. But what takes place when poachers input the forest and need to kill the tigers?
Nagashekar’s maasthi gudi, that's based on a story written by way of duniya vijay, has been inside the news for various motives. All those apart, does it make for an unique watch? It does, however no longer absolutely. The film has an amazing message that it seeks to send, however the execution falters with a lacklustre screenplay. While duniya vijay and heroines amulya and kriti kharbanda lead the way on the subject of performances, together with rest of the ensemble cast, there are a number of times one is left bewildered as to what's happening, specially within the 2nd 1/2.
Acknowledged for his romantic capers, nagashekar has ensured that the 2 love tales, involving each the main women, are sweet, peppered with desirable songs. But, the principle plot, which entails the hero fighting the poachers and his efforts to save the forest lacks the punch. The 2 terrible leads, raghava uday and anil kumar, who lost their lives on the film’s set, don’t seem to have justified roles and seem as an alternative comical than menacing. The usage of supernatural too is as an alternative abrupt and nothing appears justified, particularly in the direction of the climax.
At the same time as the combat sequences seem to be nicely choreographed, in particular the one involving ravishankar and vijay, and the songs are hummable with brief however cute romantic testimonies backing them, the movie in totality appears rather befuddling in the direction of the cease.
While this film does seem a tad underwhelming eventually, one can sincerely move and watch the film for vijay’s performing and the underlying message about forest conservation.
